PMI2007亚太年会(香港)演讲征文通知
8 May, 2006
Dear PMI Asia Pacific Member,
Between 29 January and 31 January 2007 the city of Hong Kong will host a congress sponsored by the Project Management Institute (PMI?), an international association of project managers. Working closely with PMI, the chapters in the Asia Pacific Region will be host to this event where speakers will make 75 minute presentations on topics ranging from Project Management Foundation and Advanced Skills through General Business Skills, Sales and Marketing Skills, Project Management Tools, and Communication, to name a few.
Currently there are over 30,000 PMI members in the region representing 15 countries. Over two-thirds of this group holds the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP?) certification. As a result, we expect the attendees of this congress to be knowledgeable and interested in learning new ideas, good experiences, and approaches to business in general and project management in particular.
At this time, we are holding a call for presentations for this event and are inviting you to submit a proposal to share your knowledge with others. If invited to present your topic, you will join the corps of speakers who have shared their knowledge with countless others across the globe. In addition to being able to share your skills you will be able to join all the attendees as they learn and network with others in the field.
If you are interested in submitting a topic for consideration, please visit the introduction web site, http://congresses.pmi.org/introduction.cfm and read the information on what is required for submission, what is required if selected, and how submissions are reviewed. Please note, as a non-profit PMI does not provide honoria to its speakers. All speakers are required to cover their own hotel and transportation costs and pay a reduced congress registration fee. The call for Presentations will close at 24.00 GMT on 11 June 2006.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jacqueline Kardon, the Congress Content Coordinator, at Jacqueline.Kardon@pmi.org.
Thank you for considering this request.
Thank you,
